Dirk Schäfer 25.11.1873 - †16.02.1931

As a composer he usually wrote works for piano. His music is characterized by rich harmonies with lush coloration and a sonorous sound. Schäfer is not exactly a typical Dutch composer in his composing. His soul resonated more profoundly with the role of a composer, it remains indisputable that his extraordinary pianistic prowess illuminated his innate musical essence.
